one more year of my life is about to end:)
some thougths on the last day being nineteen.. shortly - good feeling. maybe this is the moment when it is good to think about the year behind you cuz i never do that new year's eve. actually, the life is so beautiful! i enjoyed the moment in the city, even tho it was very busy around, i felt very calm inside.. i just went to have lunch/dinner all by myself. very good feeling to sit and think what happened in these past years, nineteen years. dont even kno if that's a lot or not.. im successfully continuing my studies, taking some new activities, everythin is pretty amazing. but maybe id like more, or maybe i want too much as always, but i guess it's better to dream than to let your dreams go away.
i really enjoyed my dinner and coffee today and some reading. it seems that one doesnt need anything else.
i wish my dreams that i wrote down on a piece of paper would come true. i believe that if u really want it, u dream about it, life will turn in a good way and will somehow make everything possible.
im sittin, thinkin, the plans of the day are fulfilled, really good feeling.. i think im born under the lucky star maybe because of those eights in my date of birth:) im happy for others' and my own success. im enjoyin so many simple things in summer that sometimes are impossible to enjoy during the intence schoolyear.
i feel that im ready for new things, challenges and on my birthday id like to thank everyone who contributed towards the good things that happened in my life in one or another way;)
i wish u all luck!

Random thoughts..
today i went to our train station with my friend who was leaving and we realized that it is much more difficult to find a lithuanian magazine there than the russian one, actually there was a "store" (if one can call it such) that was totally "russian" i mean some old random books there, all range of magazines in russian and some other weird stuff but between those only like 3-5 lithuanian magazines.
that actually made me kind of sad..
anyways, enjoy your day!;)
P.s. and we want that foreigners wouldn't say that we proly speak russian in Lithuania..

In the air!
so the weekend was great cuz finally i could fly again..and be surrounded by people who love to fly who love the air! and visit some places that I could stay forever..
I was always a bigger fan of the air than for example water or ground.. so this weekend I went to Pociunai with my dad and could see how wonderful everythin looks from above: the river, fields, towns, etc. amazing nature!
and then the next day I drove with my fam to Panevezys to a great show "Zmogus paukstis" which is dedicated to a great pilot who died in a plain accident earlier this year Vytautas Lapenas. He was an amazing man who made impossible possible even after a very serious accident showed that it's possible to fly even being dissabled. such kind of people are the ones we should learn from..
off topic: I think I'm a workaholic person cuz I think I have too less work to do thesedays which drives me crazy sometimes..on the other hand i love doin nothin or watchin movies or sleepin - just bein lazy:)

comin back with thoughts about education..
it's been long again since my last blog entry.. but it's better now than never i guess. just remembered one topic that i was keeping in mind to write about some time ago. it's again about education.. i'm pretty happy about my university and the way studies are organized there but in general education in Lithuania kinda sucks.. the processes of improving it are sooo slow that i'm not sure if we catch up with other countries. starting with primary and middle school kinds there are not taught the most important things in life but instead they get some classes they do not need. times are changing and nowadays more and more diversity comes to our lives even in Lithuania.. but most of the kids in our country don't have a clue about race issues or other things. instead they must attend religion class which is also not that relevant thesedays because we have not only Roman Catholics around us, but of course most of the schools cannot offer you a choice and it happenes that others are kind of discriminated. talking about high school education, senior year in most of the schools is like a hell, everything depends only on two or three final exams! but shouldn't it be that you collect the knowledge throughout the years and get some credits for various exams, projects, etc.? i don't see the point in that one 1,5hrs exam when half of the students are so stressed out because it's one of the first bigger exam in your life.. and after that choosing basically ANY university or college that you can get in.. im glad that more and more people are taking a year of after school to understand what they really want to study or try to choose better education because if you really want everything is possible..
and now looking and university.. what kind of people are there? smart kids, cool kids, like in movies..not that long time ago there was a tv show about bachelor and master studies. some of the students shared their experience while sitting in auditoriums. majority of students don't want anything i mean they are so passive in classes they you'd never get an aswer from them. what is more interesting sometimes listen to people around you..especially girls:) polishing their nails, reading girlish magazines, talking about fashion, boyfriends, etc. this is true.. of course there are many students who work nowadays but what happens is that work comes first than studies, but is it the point of going to university?? ok maybe that's only my personal opinion..hopefully one day things will change or at least the brightest part of youth generation will change them and our children will have opportunities to get better education in their home country.

back to old style...
so it's been ages since i've written here, but today one of my friends reminded me that i have a blog lol.. so yea after my last post there was this big conference EuroCo'07 that i was writting about, it brought so many different thoughts and of course experience...after that we were all exhausted at least i was for sure.. i needed to recover. after that period of time don't remember any very important events. winter celebrations passed without even noticing that and exam session wasn't that bad at all..some parties, chillin with ppl.. of course u need some rest for your brain after intence studyin so i went home and had some nice activities if u can call them so: gym, massages, swimming pools, walks, etc. it was cool. so the new semester started not that long time ago.. i hope it's not gonna be too tough to get through it.. i have to strive for the best. and yea after sometime not doin much just chillin and partyin i'm back to my old style - busy/workin style. organizing a national CSR conference and enjoyin most of the time;) so yea, comin back to detailed planning, multitasking and so on..
have a good beginning of a new week..
